Brazil coach Tite says being ranked number one in the world by FIFA will mean nothing if they cannot win the World Cup.
Tite has been successful since he took over the Selecao, leading them to eight consecutive victories and ensuring them a spot in the World Cup.
And the former Corinthians coach admitted he was not aware they had knocked Germany off the top.
“I care so little that I didn’t even know that,” he revealed.
“But it is good to know that we have shown consistency and that we’re still working hard. The pressure is on me to make a team play well.
“The message to all Brazilians is that talent alone does not win the World Cup, it’s about working hard.”
